AI is talked about everywhere, but most people have never had a simple, friendly way to try it. The AI Porch is that starting point.

Why we started

Artificial intelligence has been in the headlines for years, yet it has not really been brought to the majority of people in the United States. Only a small share of households pay for access to it, which leaves most people on the outside looking in.

Our goal is a gentle introduction. We help you get comfortable with AI by using it on the tedious, time-consuming tasks we all face during the day. Every person's tasks are different, so we will show a range of examples.

You will hear most of it from a retiree's point of view, but we work in plenty of tips that are useful to everyone.

What we cover

Plain-English explanations of AI tools and how to use them
Scam and fraud warnings, and how to stay safe
Practical, everyday uses of AI for people who are not "techies"

Who it is for

Written for adults 55 and over, including our neighbors in The Villages, Florida, and anyone curious about technology. No technical background needed.
